F I S H T A C O S

My family’s request ALL summer long was for these dang fish tacos! The first night I made them I thought to myself that I just got lucky because they came out so delicious! Then the second batch was surprisingly just as good, and I have to admit I think I perfected them the third time around. Β Since they are too easy and delicious not to share here you go.

  • 4-5 filet of white fish (halibut, dover sole)
  • 1/2 head cabbage
  • 2-3 lime
  • 1 large tomato
  • 1 cucumber
  • cilantro
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • Sriracha
  • 1/2 flour
  • small flour tortillas

In a large skillet add oil of your choice and set it on high. I always like to burn the outside of my fish, I love the texture. This is also why i coat my fish in flour and seasonings.

Toss some spices and any go to seasonings you have in you pantry into the flour and mix. Β Toss in the fish and coat completely. Add the fish to the hot oil and cook about 5-6 min each side depending on the fish. Set fish aside on paper towel while we make my favorite Sriracha Slaw!
