Nothing like a much needed relaxing getaway to make you feel like yourself again! I was lucky enough to spend the weekend with some of our best friends. Not only did I have a great time but things for a split second felt normal again. We are humans and by nature need to have interactions and not be cooped up inside all day long. There is tons of things out there to do and you can still continue to be safe.

The world is just such an intense place right now. Our eyes are being open to so much and I wouldn’t want to change that one bit. We have to continue to educate ourselves.

With that said I also want you to remember to take care of yourself. We are living in a time that can lay so heavy on our hearts and minds. Taking care of our mental health seems very low on our priorities list. So make sure you find the time and MAKE THE TIME! Make time away from your phone, make time to enjoy laughs with friends and most importantly make time to check in with yourself.

I made sure to give my mind a break and just relax (with no kids, because kids and relaxing isn’t really a thing). We only planned a dinner and the rest was just a go-with-the-flow weekend and it was just what the doctor ordered.

Thanks to my girls telling me how to pose I did end up with some great photos!

Had my first dine in dinner in 172 days (but who’s counting) ! It was glorious. I forgot how much I missed dressing up , eating good food and most importantly enjoying good company.

Made such great memories in such a short time.

Already planning our trip to Tulum.
